Deidre Diamond has been training technology and sales professionals on these soft skills for the last 18 years. Diamond is the Founder/CEO of national cyber security staffing company CyberSN (cybersn.com), Founder of #brainbabe (brainbabe.org) and ICMCP Strategic Board Member. Deidre was previously the CEO of Percussion Software, the first VP of Sales at Rapid7 (NYSE:RPD) and the VP of Sales at Motion Recruitment

1st Course:

Making and Managing Measurable Agreements: 90% of all work breakdown stems from a lack of making and managing measurable agreements. When a workplace operates on measurable agreements there’s no pointing of fingers or casting blame, there’s only accountability. Learn how to make measurable agreements with those you report to, your peers, those you lead and others you rely on. In this course, you will learn how to make and manage measurable. Our cyber security environments are often reactive and fast-paced with rapidly changing projects—in this course you will learn how to keep your agreements measurable as projects change, in addition to how to best make new agreements.

Win/Win Communication: All communication can become win/win, meaning that everyone can walk away from a meeting, conversation or problem feeling good! Yes, you read that correctly–it’s possible. People don’t want to fight with each other yet if our language does not promote cohesiveness, people will clash. Words are the key to everyone on a team winning. In this course, you will learn words and phrases that will keep people together and thriving even in the face of extreme conflict and challenge. Verbal training, written training and body language training is all a part of this win/win communications course.

*Continued practice is the key to learning new skills. As part of this course you will have access to our web portal. This web portal will keep you in tune with your measurable agreements, support you in making and managing them, as well as keep you in tune with the language needed to consistently use win/win communication. You will have access to Deidre and her trainings for six months after the course so that your training continues out of the classroom.

2nd Course:

The Art of Language: This course is a continuation of win/win communication and dives deeper into the art of verbal and non-verbal language. We will create the language necessary for more strategic conversations vs. day-to-day discussions. We will practice our craft by creating and giving presentations. We will discuss and role-play performance review conversations, income discussions and conflict resolution techniques. This course will build off Course #1, and will prepare anyone for the “tough conversations.”

The Art of Listening: Talk less, listen more, and you will be more powerful. Do you know how to listen? Most people think they do yet when tested, fall short. In this course we illustrate strong listening skills, teach how to listen effectively and how to ask questions that make listening easy, and teach how to tell others they aren't listening without creating drama. Learning how to listen will allow others to want to listen to you.
